Herts Marathon Challenge
12th July

Take on 26 Miles Through the Heart of Hertfordshire

Marathon banner v2.png

The Helping Herts Marathon Challenge is a fully supported 26-mile countryside challenge through some of Hertfordshire’s most beautiful villages, lanes and landscapes. It is open to walkers, joggers and runners alike.

Starting and finishing in Bennington, this circular route offers participants the freedom to take on the challenge in their own way. We anticipate that finish times will range between 3 hours 30 minutes and 10 hours.

With multiple start times (one for runners and one for walkers), regular drinks points, staffed checkpoints and a welcoming event HQ at Bennington Village Hall, the day is carefully planned to support everyone taking part.

You’ll be joining a brilliant community of people coming together to raise vital funds for children and young people across Hertfordshire.

Participants will receive full route information in advance, including a written route description and GPX file, and the event is backed by a comprehensive risk assessment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

This challenge takes place during our July match-funding week, meaning the money you raise for one of partner charities is eligible to be doubled, helping your miles go even further for local children’s charities.

The entry fee is just £25 and then we ask for a commitment to raise a minimum of £100.
